Fox News First Shows ABC’s Suppressed Terrorist Tape
No wonder ABC News didn’t want the American people to see terrorist threat obtained in
Waziristan, Pakistan of an English-speaking man threatening a massive attack on the U.S. The tape includes a man who claims to be a U.S. native and al Qaeda supporter. In the videotape the man spoke accented English and warned, "the streets will run with blood" if President Bush is reelected. The tape clearly shows the disdain for Bush and Cheney, a virtual endorsement for Kerry.
The hour-long tape covers numerous topics that indicate it was made as recently as late summer, since the man discusses the Darfur conflict in Sudan, the September 11 Commission in the U.S., and same-sex marriage legislation in Massachusetts. The man, his identity concealed by a headdress and dark glasses, warned of an attack on the United States would dwarf the September 11, 2001 attacks. The speaker refers to al Qaeda
leaders Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahri as "our leaders" and praises the September 11 attacks. "The magnitude and ferocity of what is coming your way will make you forget all about September 11th, " claims the terrorist.
After decades of American tyranny and oppression, now it's your turn to die. Allah willing, the streets of America sall run red with blood, matching drop for drop the blood of America's victims." He blames the current administration saying, "You’re guilty. Guilty, guilty, guilty. You are as guilty as Bush and Cheney. You're as guilty as Rumsfeld and Ashcroft and Powell."
ABCNEWS strongly denied holding the tape back from broadcast over political concerns during the last days of the election. Meanwhile, Fox News obtained the videotape independently of ABC. They then aired portions of the video before ABC News.
